Hi, I’m Conor Olmstead.

I’m an award-winning corporate and social video producer with more than fifteen years of expertise in visual communications.

I put a creative lens—both literal and figurative—on every project I take on, bringing a positive attitude, keen eye, and a detail-oriented composure to the shoot and post-production process.

Here’s a quick demo reel of my work.

And here’s a few full-length favorites.

Want to know a little more about me?

My name is Conor Olmstead, and I’m a Boston area videomaker and portrait photographer. I’ve been working as a creative media producer for more than fifteen years, and I love the opportunities I get to work closely with all kinds of artists and organizations who are looking to bring a new energy to their visual media.

When I’m not behind the camera or the editing suite, I’m often found playing video games, cooking, attending my friends’ theatrical and drag performances, and spending time with my critters.

I’m especially interested in amplifying voices in the LGBTQ+ community and helping ensure their stories are heard.

These are a few of my achievements.

  • Webby Award Winner

for Best Social Food & Drink, 2024.

  • 17.8 Million Views

    on “Spaghetti All’Assassina” for
    America’s Test Kitchen, 2024.

  • 1,000+ Videos Produced

    across all properties since 2016.

  • 175% increase

in followers during the time these
    properties were in my portfolio.

Here’s what I bring to the table.

A creative videomaker wears many hats during the process of any one video.
Here’s what I can bring to each phase:

Producer

As a Producer, I’m managing the logistics of the venue and talent, working with subject matter experts to develop a script, arranging for equipment requirements, and planning the shoot day’s proceedings to ensure a smooth and comprehensive recording.

Editor

As an Editor, I adhere to an organization or artist’s style guide and wants, assemble the deliverable for review following my creative instincts and training, incorporate feedback from the organization or artist, and offer my unique visual perspective on the project.

Professional

I have years of experience working on short deadlines with quick feedback cycles, and I always bring a singular viewpoint, level-headed composure, and an eager energy to each project I take on.

I’m passionate about photography, too.

My portrait photography has featured on the covers of high-profile comic books, in the media kits for prominent area drag performers, and will be the focus of an upcoming exhibition in Boston, MA in summer 2025. You can see more at cophotos.net
